About us

The church is well-known all over the world as “The Kill Bill Church.” The official name of this church is The Sanctuary Adventist Church. Up until recently, it was the Calvary Baptist Church. This is currently an active church and many people from all over the world come to visit the church on Saturday morning to attend the services.

The architecture is certainly old Spanish style, a replica of a Real Missions in Southern California. This Church is sort of a miniature Chapel version of them. As soon as you drive up to the Church, you could see the Wedding scene from Quentin Tarantino’s film “Kill Bill” in your imagination. The Church is on a lonely stretch of road surrounded by small farms, ranches, homes and that’s about it. A lonely Joshua Tree stands out at front greeting passers-by as well as Church parishioners and sightseers. Other notable films that have been used this Church as a location are “Crossroads” with Britney Spears and “True Confessions” with Robert DeNiro.

Has also appeared in other films, including “Crossroads” starring Britney Spears, “True Confessions” starring Robert De Niro and “Hell” starring Jean-Claude Van Damme.

Fans of Kill Bill movies come from all over to take photos in front of The Kill Bill Church, we share and post their images on our website, don’t miss out on this adventure.

Do you want to celebrate you wedding in the style of bill wedding do you dare?
It is a great adventure and a wonderful memory

This church is located in the Antelope Valley, a desert area of great beauty. It is currently in service, and the pastor who manages it is really very kind. It is less than two hours from Pasadena and the drive is well worth it. Nearby there is a museum of the Indians who inhabited the area that is interesting to visit. Also in Palmade, half an hour away, there is a NASA center with planes that can be visited.

We checked out the church on a Saturday and they had a service while we were there. A member of the church greeted us with a smile and some literature. They invited us to take photos of the church inside and out, and gave us a quick lesson in the history of the property. It turns out that people from all over the world have come to visit this place, some have even had their wedding here. It is an attractive place to see in person.

I will definitely return again to this iconic classic building! It is not only known for shooting the Kill Bill movies by Quentin Tarantino, it is also famous for shooting various videos, music commercials, and other movies.

It is also a real church where many from all over the world come to worship!
